Armando Montero was raised here in Arizona, and he’s a proud product of our public schools. In 2020, he made history as the youngest person ever elected to the Tempe Union High School District Governing Board at 19 years-old.
After years of being on the receiving end of attacks on public education from the State Legislature, Armando decided to run for the AZ House of Representatives to put partisan politics aside, bring a new energy and a fresh perspective to the State Capitol.
Armando Montero is a leader who has seen firsthand what happens when we Arizona fails to invest in students and educators, and he's someone who has made decisions to responsibly manage public budgets. He's running for Arizona House of Representatives now to take action on the issues we are all facing every day, including:
Revitalizing Arizona's Economy
Fully-funding Education and Encouraging Job Growth
